‘Stabbed 26 times’: Rajasthan mahant killed by unidentified attackers; trust dispute under lens

A 35-year-old Mahant of the ancient Chandrasel Math in Kota was fatally stabbed 26 times by unidentified assailants late Friday night. Police suspect a dispute over ownership of the Trust and the post as the motive behind the brutal attack. Religious leaders and the family are refusing to conduct last rites until the accused are arrested.
