Rajasthan’s Bhilwara leads state in crackdown on illegal mining; 346 FIRs filed, 3,358 tonnes seized

Bhilwara has taken a strong stance against illegal mining, registering 346 FIRs and arresting 388 individuals between January and May. Authorities seized a total of 3,358 tonnes of minerals, including gravel, stone, and garnet, along with 437 vehicles involved in the illicit activities. The public is urged to purchase minerals from authorized sources and report any illegal mining operations.
