Rajasthan’s Barmer launches climate-resilient agriculture drive with Khejri conservation, fodder security measures

Barmer District’s Collector Chinmayee Gopal has kicked off transformative climate-resilient agriculture initiatives aimed at bolstering fodder security and safeguarding the Khejri tree. The programs will see farmers receiving grafted Khejri saplings and Thornless Cactus plants. Along with farmer exposure visits to promote medicinal and aromatic crops, certified seeds for cumin and isabgol will be available to support local agricultural development.
