Rajasthan to conduct wildlife census at 100 plus waterholes on May 1–2

In a bold initiative to protect its wildlife, Rajasthan’s Forest Department is launching an extensive wildlife census focused on the iconic Great Indian Bustard. To combat the soaring daytime temperatures, this census will take place from 5 PM May 1 to 5 PM May 2.
