Merger of Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota municipal bodies soon: Rajasthan minister

The state government will begin the merger process of municipal corporations in Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Kota, fulfilling a BJP poll promise. Scheduled for mid-2025, the merger will coincide with the delimitation of ward boundaries to address size disparities favoring Congress-dominated areas.
