Merchant navy officer from Rajasthan stranded as Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps seizes ship in Strait of Hormuz

An Indian merchant navy Vice Captain from Rajasthan is among 21 crew members stranded after Iran’s IRGC seized a container ship in the Strait of Hormuz. The vessel, en route to India, was reportedly fired upon before being taken. Family members are appealing for government intervention to ensure the safe return of all Indian sailors.
