Zubair Khan, a four-time Congress MLA from Alwar’s Ramgarh seat, passed away at the age of 62 after battling illness. His funeral is scheduled for this evening in Ramgarh, Alwar. With his passing, the count of Congress MLAs in the assembly has dropped to 65 and seven seats are now vacant.
