Following the killing of a rare Caracal in Jaisalmer, the Forest Department has launched an awareness campaign targeting local communities. The initiative aims to educate shepherds and herders about conservation, encouraging them to report sightings and assuring safe relocation of “problem animals” to reduce human-wildlife conflict and protect the endangered species.
