Tigers stray into human settlements near Rajasthan’s Ranthambore National Park

Tigers from Ranthambore National Park are increasingly venturing into human settlements, prompting authorities to tranquilize them. Recently, tigress Arrowhead was tranquilized near Sherpur helipad and released back into her territory. Experts suggest that the increasing prey base inside the fort, due to readily available food sources, attracts tigers, leading to human-wildlife conflicts.
