First successful ostrich breeding in Rajasthan’s Ramniwas Bagh zoo

For the first time in Rajasthan, an ostrich bred successfully in captivity at Ramniwas Bagh zoo, with a female named Avantika laying 11 eggs and one hatching successfully. Assistant Conservator Prachi Chaudhary highlighted the significance of this achievement and outlined future plans, including the creation of a large aviary to enhance breeding conditions and conservation efforts.
