Efforts underway to strengthen network in Rajasthan’s border districts, says NWR GM Amitabh

North Western Railway is installing the Kavach 4.0 anti-collision system across 1,586 km in its first phase, with over 50% of towers and 70% of OFC work complete. The GM also revealed plans to strengthen rail networks in Rajasthan’s border districts and indicated the potential for Vande Bharat Express operations from Jaisalmer in the future.
