According to Israeli media, at least two people were injured, including a 12-year-old child, as emergency teams rushed to multiple reported strike sites. Videos circulating online show explosions and debris falling across parts of the city after the latest barrage. The Israel Defense Forces said it detected missiles launched from Iran toward Israeli territory, with air defense systems activated to intercept the incoming threats. Authorities also issued precautionary alerts to residents’ mobile phones, urging people in affected areas to follow safety instructions.

Former Foreign Secretary Kanwal Sibal has warned that the ongoing conflict in the Gulf has significantly affected India’s strategic interests in West Asia. He pointed out that the United Arab Emirates, a key partner and major hub for India’s engagement in the region, has been among the countries most impacted by the war. Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday declared that the Bharatiya Janata Party will contest the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections independently, putting an end to speculation about a possible reunion with the Shiromani Akali Dal. Speaking at the Badlaav Rally in Moga’s Killi Chahlan, Shah said the BJP will no longer remain the “chhota bhai” in Punjab politics. He called on voters to give the party an opportunity after years of rule by Congress, Akali Dal and the Aam Aadmi Party. Highlighting the BJP’s 19% vote share in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Punjab, Shah expressed confidence that the party can expand its support base and form a government in the state.

The Pentagon has ordered the USS Tripoli and approximately 2,500 Marines from the Indo-Pacific toward the Middle East, giving the US a self-contained forcible entry capability in the region. The Japan-based USS Tripoli, an America-class amphibious assault ship carrying F-35Bs, Ospreys and helicopters, will be accompanied by the USS Robert Smalls and USS Rafael Peralta, arriving in roughly two weeks to join over 50,000 US troops already in the theatre. A former commander of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has warned the United States and Israel, saying that the end of the war is “in Tehran’s hands." Major General Mohsen Rezaei has also set out three conditions for the war to end, including full compensation from Washington D.C. for the damages occurred due to the strikes. Earlier, Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian had also laid down conditions for de-escalation.

Russia's foreign ministry said on March 13 that it had summoned the British and French ambassadors in Moscow over a Ukrainian attack on the city of Bryansk allegedly using British-supplied Storm Shadow missiles. The ministry said it did so to “lodge a strong protest" over the attack that took place on March 10. A top Iranian general has vowed revenge over the U.S. military's torpedo attack which sunk an Iranian warship in the Indian Ocean on March 4. Iranian Army Commander-in-Chief Amir Hatami claimed that the crew of the destroyer warship had completed a peaceful mission and were targeted while on their way back to Iran. According to officials, the IRIS Dena was struck by a torpedo fired from a U.S. submarine while sailing in international waters. The Sri Lanka Navy rescued 32 sailors and recovered 87 bodies from the sea.
