Garlic prices go north in Rajasthan, hit Rs 600/kg as rains damage crop

Garlic prices in Rajasthan have skyrocketed to Rs 400-600 per kg due to crop damage from heavy monsoon rains. The state, a major garlic producer, saw a 40% supply reduction. Wholesale prices range from Rs 250-350 per kg. Traders anticipate a price dip when supplies arrive from other states and expect a good harvest in February.
