Dronathon-2026: IAF showcases indigenous drones, counter-UAS systems at Rajasthan’s Pokhran range

The Indian Air Force commenced its first Dronathon-2026 exercise at Jaisalmer’s Pokhran range. This event featured advanced indigenous unmanned and counter-unmanned systems demonstrations. Around sixty Indian companies showcased their drone warfare capabilities and technologies. The exercise aimed to create a direct interface between defense companies and the IAF. It highlighted the growing importance of drone warfare in modern military operations.
