Youth held captive, assaulted and humiliated; forced to wear shoe garland after entering house in Rajasthan village

In a disturbing episode of mob justice in Barmer district, Rajasthan, a young man found himself allegedly captured and mercilessly attacked after intruding into a home. Locals went so far as to disgrace him by shaving his moustache and hair, smearing his face with black, and forcing him to wear a garland of shoes.
