Now, Rajasthan mulls ‘Rajya Mata’ status for cows

Rajasthan’s government is considering bestowing ‘Rajya Mata’ status to cows, inspired by Maharashtra’s recent pledge. Animal Husbandry Minister Joraram Kumawat mentioned evaluating Maharashtra’s implementation. Additionally, stricter laws against cow smuggling are planned, and a review petition will be filed in the Supreme Court regarding the bail of a cow smuggler. Further plans include opening Nandi Shalas in every district.
