Endangered caracal cat rescued and fitted with India’s first radio collar in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer

Rajasthan forest officials have achieved a conservation milestone by radio-collaring an endangered caracal cat for the first time in India. Rescued from a poacher’s trap, the male caracal will now be tracked by experts to gather crucial data on its movements and behaviour, aiding vital conservation efforts for this elusive wild cat.
