After Gurjar mahapanchayat, protesters block tracks in Rajasthan; 12+ trains delayed despite govt nod to 5% MBC reservation

Following the Gurjar mahapanchayat in Bharatpur, called off after the Rajasthan government agreed to consider the community’s demands, disgruntled youths disrupted railway traffic on the Delhi-Mumbai line. The two-hour blockade, involving track damage, halted the Kota-Mathura passenger train and affected over a dozen other trains. Authorities intervened, persuading protesters to clear the tracks and restoring rail movement after repairs.
