Mandatory drone surveys for minor mineral mines in Rajasthan from April 2025

The Rajasthan government launched a one-time settlement scheme for minor mineral mine leaseholders. The scheme allows resolving discrepancies by paying 10-25% of dues. Starting April 2025, drone surveys become mandatory, and discrepancies with previous reports will be addressed under this scheme, valid until March 2026. This move aims to curb illegal mining, boost transparency, and prevent revenue loss.
